Kinsey turned the big FIVE on Saturday the 27th! A few days earlier, they celebrated her birthday with a crown, the customary putting up the next "candle" on the cupcake display, and I went and took cupcakes later! She was so excited! She loved her crown so much she wore it all day the next day and even to a baskeball game that night! She must have felt pretty special, but that was just the beginning!
Saturday morning, we surprised Kinsey with breakfast in bed! She was so excited! She had pancakes that daddy tried to make into hearts and flowers, chocolate milk, and fruit salad! I made her party cupcakes

(Tinkerbell-themed) and we were off to her friend party! I decided that I didn't have the energy to clean my house, have seven 5 year olds over to play and have fun (and lets face it, trash the house!) just to clean it up again. So, we had everyone meet us at Funtime Inflatables indoor playroom and the kids had a blast...and I might add that Jason is included when I say "kids"! About

half way through the time we were there, he came up to me and showed me his stamp and ran to go play with the kids! He had a great time throwing the kids around and getting them over their fears on a couple of the bouncy houses. He took Jonas up the BIG slide and he never looked back! I had to drag him off of it an hour later promising him that we'd go back some day! The only downfall to this place is that, unless you want to spend $100 on booking a party, you can't even open presents in there...let alone eat cake or

anything! So, ghetto as I am, I took the kids outside five minutes before their parents came and gave them a cupcake and Kinsey opened her presents! I just was not going to drive the kids all the way out to Enoch to our house to eat a cupcake and open presents, just to drive them back in time for parents to come. I'd like to blame being pregnant and just really out of energy, but in all honesty...I probably woulda done that regardless!
In all the rush, I misplaced my camera, and

didn't get any pictures of Kinsey's Tinkerbell cake that I made her for the family party later that evening...it had chocolate leaves and flowers on a two-tiered purple and green cake with a big Tinkerbell topper we had from one of Kinsey's old bubble bath bottles. It even had fairy dust sprinkles on it! I got a few on our cell phone, so we'll see if I can transfer a few. The family party was really fun. We just had pizza and cake and had a good time visiting! Kinsey got spoiled as usual....we got her a fish aquarium kit...its a

little 1.5 gallon tank she's been wanting. Jonas got her a new "jammy dress" that has the girl from the princess and the frog on it! She got a new extra large princess drawing pad from my mom and the girls and a ton of goodies from my Dad and Cheryl and their girls! She got a little money, too...which means she can go buy her own fish with her own money! She's so excited about that!
We love you Kinsey! We are so happy you came to our family and that you can put up

with us! We love how creative you are and how you are so affectionate and loving! You are a great big sister and daughter and we love you!

Happy Birthday Kinsey! I remember I was so jealous when you had her and I still had 1 1/2 months to go. Now I am glad I don't have a 5 year old yet. It makes me sad when they grow up.
LMAO! The part where you had to promise 'him' you would come back. Are you talking about Jason or Jonas? Happy Birthday, Kinsey!
