Baby Kitties!

Our kitty went MIA for a day and, knowing she was pregnant, I was worried,

of course! I looked all over for her one night and the next morning before I went to work, but I still couldn't find her! I got a call at work at about noon, and it was Jason saying he'd found the KITTIES. I knew that cats find a cozy place for when they have their babies, but I thought she'd pick somewhere out in the garage. Well, she had picked our LINEN CLOSET. Luckily, she'd had them on a bunch of old, raggety blankets I was planning on getting rid of anyway, so it worked out...but really?! Being that this was the only time I was planning on having a fertile animal as a pet, we just took it in strides. I came home for lunch that day, took pictures and moved her and her babies into the garage and into a box, where they stayed for the next six weeks. The kids LOVED having little babies to play with. Our momma kitty is such a sweet kitty, she really trusted us a lot with them! We found the kitties great homes and we will always have fun looking back at having baby kitties in our house! Shortly thereafter, said momma kitty turned into an old maid ;)
