We've been doing a lot of fishing these days, so I figured I'd add a few pictures of one of our trips. It was Jonas' first fishing trip and we couldn't keep the fish off our hooks, the fishing was so good, so I forgot to take pictures of us on shore. We just strapped our canoe to the top of the minivan and it worked great! I was a little skeptical, but once it was on, it was like the canoe was made for that van!
Jonas has been doing so much these days. He's basically sitting up on his own, he can scoot on his stomach a little way and turn 360, and roll from one side of the room to the other. He's gotten so grown up in the last two weeks! He's lost that chunky baby look and has really thinned out. His face is thinner and now he looks a lot older to me because he's so tall. He is still crazy about Kinsey and will laugh at her for sneezing or something totally unintended after we've tried for an hour by being silly without getting anything out of him! Its cute. He looks for her the minute he wakes up. Kinsey likes to hold him all the time, that's why I have so many cute pictures of them snuggling.
Kinsey is doing great, too. She lost another tooth, so that makes two gone now. I took her to a great pediatric dentist here in town where they cleaned and did all the normal stuff and they also did xrays. The dentist had actually studied Jason's disease in college and knew about how it affects teeth and it was nice not to have to explain it all to him. So, he did the xrays and it does show that the bone her teeth are seated in isn't as dense as it is supposed to be. He said that he is pretty sure she has Jason's disease enough to make her loose her baby teeth early, which she has. So, we are just hoping that it only will affect her teeth and not any of the limb bones. People with this disease loose their baby teeth real easy because the bone isn't dense enough and the ligaments that hold teeth in aren't strong enough, so even a minor bump or pulling can loosen them. But, adult teeth come in fine and strong and don't usually fall out if they take care of them. Kinsey's xrays show gorgeous teeth coming in and he said the enamel is amazingly strong, so we just need to take care of her teeth.
Jason has been doing training hours at dispatch and says some days are super busy, and then other days are "hurry up and wait". I said "welcome to government work". Still no real fires. I didn't think there would be a day that I wished for the mountain to go up in flames!! There were 6 or 7 the other day after we had a lightening storm come through, but all the crews were so excited to see real fires that they were all put out real fast.
I had a good birthday. The big 25. Jason and I went out to dinner at Chilis and it was nice to be out without the kids! I ate my meal so fast--probably 4 or 5 minutes---and I realized that I eat like I'm in a race, I'm so used to having kids rush dinner time. We also went out to the new Indiana Jones movie. We haven't been to a movie in ages! It was also our 5th wedding anniversary on Saturday. So, this weekend we went to St. George and we found the coolest store. Its called Tai Pan Trading. Its the wholesale store where all other stores get their cute nick-knack stuff. I was expecting a store like "Welcome Home" or something, but when we pulled up, it was like, the size of Costco! I was with Cheryl and she said as we walked up to the door "brace yourself, it gets overwhelming"!! It was the coolest! So, I spent my birthday money on mantel clocks and birdhouses to decorate my plan shelves with! It was fun! They had everything there and for pretty cheap!

I am so glad you have a blog now! You need to post lots of pictures of you kids because I haven't seen them in so long! Our 5th anniversary is next month so we must have gotten married like 6 weeks apart. We need to find some time to hang out!
