What a spoiled kid! On Sunday, Paka, Grandma Cheryl, Melissa, Courtney, Sarah, and Emily were driving through town on their way home from a trip and they stopped in and we had a birthday party for Jason, Brenna and Jonas, since their birthdays are so close to eachother! We had dinner and then had a generic cake and opened presents! Jonas opened his Tickle Me Elmo first, (which cost me $1.50 at D.I.!) and he wasn't so sure about it. All the rest of us loved it, however! He also got this little basketball toy and its pretty simple, but he loves to play with it! He's even throwing the balls into it now and getting pretty good at it! His daddy gave him a little tractor toy and once we have some dirt to play in, he's gonna be all over that! Then, last night, which was his actual birthday, my mom and sisters came over and I
made this puppy cake. They gave him this big fire truck and he loves it! Dad and Cheryl gave him one of those toys that has the buttons and the animals pop out! He has always loved those and now he has one!! Later on, we were dancing and playing Rock Band and having a ball, and we were spinning around and he just took one look after a big twirl and threw up! I felt so bad! I thought, "Great mother I am, I just made my son puke on his birthday!" But, we always dance like that and he's never been sick at all, so I was so worried that I didn't let him have the usual "dig into the cake" that most one year olds get, just in case it was the flu or something wierd like that! Jury's still out on what it is. This will
sound bad, but I'm hoping that he just ate something that turned his stomach and it isn't the flu.....as if the holidays aren't busy enough! But, he is incredibly spoiled because he got TWO birthday parties and lots of toys and lots of love from family! I am trying to keep myself from thinking about the fact that I have an almost 4-year-old and a ONE YEAR OLD! Wierd! I have heard that the more kids you have the faster the time flies, cause you're so busy....I want more kids, but not if it makes my fun life fly by this fast and
make me want another kid
so soon!! hahahah. Jonas is such a sweet, happy boy. He is just a sweetheart and is so cuddly and lovey! Happy Birthday, little guy!

Happy Birthday Jonas! Can you believe he is that big already? They grow up to fast. Kaylynn loved his cake. She is obsessed with birthday cakes. She likes her birthday better than Christmas. So fun! I'm glad to see that your family is doing better after the surgery. Have a Merry Christmas!
