Sledding...for like the first time in two years!

We all know what I was doing last winter...feeding my hollow-legged son every hour and a half, so needless to say, we didn't get out much last year. We didn't even own a sled for years until last week when Walmart FINALLY got some more in stock, (they always run out of everything when you need it!) So, it happens that Kinsey's Preschool has a Daddy activity and this year it was sledding....Yay! So, we were all invited and we had a ball! It was nice and sunny and warm, so some of the snow was melting off in patches, but the slopes were awesome still! Jonas was okay on the smaller stuff, but he got a little traumatized on the couple of slightly bigger ones I'd taken him on. Its okay, we'll toughen him up! It was his first time sledding ever and one of the handful of times he's been out and bundled up in the snow! We had doughnuts and hot chocolate after and Jason wore his Rasta snow hat....yeah, I know what you're thinking...he IS crazy, so its okay! But, he's also way more fun than I could ever be, so its great! Kinsey loved all of it, but around lunchtime, the fact that Jonas hadn't gotten a morning nap had caught up with him and we were all getting worn out from hiking up the hill, so we went home. It was so much fun and
I realized that I really had forgotten how much I like to play in the snow!

Hurray you got a sled! Sledding is fun. It brings back childhood memories.
