Navajo Lake Trip on Labor Day...

You may not know this, but for the last 7 weeks of my job, Jason and I were playing "hand off" with the kids. I had Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays off of work, (if it was slow enough), and then Jason took the kids to the sitter on Thursday and Friday and then he had them on Saturdays and Sundays. So, basically, Jason and I never saw eachother except for me to come home at bedtime, put the kids to bed and then pass out! So, on Labor Day, WE WERE BOTH OFF, and it had been like 4 weeks without a day off together! So, we decided to pack the kids up and take the canoe to Navajo Reservoir up Cedar Mountain! We got up there and it was pretty chilly and it was a little choppy, so we canoed over to the other side of the lake and went for a little hike, ate our picnic lunch and then canoed back. We tried to fish but there was just too much going on. We had so much fun and the kids were amazing on the canoe! We had bought worms for the fishing and Kinsey thought they were so cute, so she insisted on holding the worms on the way home...yeah. She's totally my daughter! haha.
