So, I know it isn't REAL crawling, but given the fact that he's only been army crawling this well for the past day or two, I'd say he'll be really crawling by the time he's nine months...Sept. 9th! What happened to my babies? Kinsey is a big girl and going to school....and Jonas is the size of a 12-month-old and crawling! Okay...I need a kitty or something...I'm getting a little baby hungry. Okay, don't get any ideas...I'm not THAT baby hungry! Jonas has also been playing this game with us where he grunts and he waits smiling ear to ear until we grunt back. I know, I know...but its fun to see him playing with us. He is also doing that finger touch buzz thing that we used to do with Kinsey. His friend Jordan is clapping and is just a little bit younger than Jonas, so we are trying to teach him that trick, too. He eats everything...I'm telling you, he could eat 12 oz of food and then be done, but if he sees us eating without him 10 minutes later, he gets so mad! Today he had chunks of strawberry and bread and cereal and banana and was done...then we sat down to eat burritos and he wanted some of that! So, he had some ground beef, too! He's still under 20lbs, so he must be doing crunches before I come to get him from bed. haha.
Kinsey is L-O-V-I-N-G preschool! She loves her teachers and she says she misses me, but she always wants to go back the next day! I walked in to pick her up today and she was writing Hs in her notebook! Her teachers say that she's a doll and is always super polite and hasn't had a problem with any of the other kids at all! Her friend Kyle is in her class and she has played with him since they were newborns! I guess the only thing she has to be prompted on is eating some of the meat in her meal, sometimes. They tell me that she eats all her veggies and fruits first and then they ask her to try her meat and she'll eat it willingly, but not very much of it. Well, at least she tries it! She only goes Monday thru Thursday...I don't know what I'll tell her on Friday when she's not getting up and ready for school! Or Labor Day, for that matter! I know she's only been going for three days, and I'm sure there's plenty of time for minor problems to arise, but I'm so glad its started out so well! We've scheduled her hardware removal from her femur to come out on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. Hopefully, after a week off, she'll be off pain meds and ready to go back to school! This should be her last surgery dealing with her hip dysplasia! Yay! I never thought this day could get here fast enough!

Yay Jonas! You big boy! Wow, I didn't know he was moving like that, you're right, he should be crawling in no time at all! I'm so glad that Kinsey loves preschool! Lani is already looking forward to the weekend-What is that all about?!
