I was tagged to do this by Charmaine and I dunno really what to put... I talked to Jason last night about it and he was stumped too, but it sounded fun. But, I do have a few, but I will probably disappoint you all because they aren't that wierd. Here goes.....
1. I bring a pair of socks with me when I'm wearing flip flops and I'm gonna be in the car or somewhere off my feet for a while. Its not because my feet get cold, I just like the coziness and I hate my feet to feel sticky-sweaty and gross. My favorite socks are the ones with the elastic that goes around the arch. I love them! And, I think since having kids I notice my feet swelling a tiny bit when I'm in the car, so this makes it feel better. I dunno. I guess I have a few feet quirks. Ask Jason!!!
2. I have to clean my house quite thoroughly before we leave on a trip. Even if its an overnighter or something quick. I hate coming home to a crazy house and then bringing in all our vacation stuff (dirty laundry, souvenirs, randomness, trash) inside and then finding places for it to go when all my regular stuff isn't put away. Drives me nuts if I don't have a clean house to come home to! I don't feel like I'm really on vacation because I'll just have to jump right into the same 'ole same 'ole with the chores the minute I get home.
3. I mop my floors on my hands and knees. When I was pregnant, I put my back out several times mopping like that until my stepmom Cheryl told me I was rediculous and bought me a mop. I think it was the first one I'd used and owned to mop my own floors! She was right though. I was nesting and it wasn't gonna get any better and if its the best I could do, its the best I could do.
4. I hate raw tomatoes. They just turn my stomach. I don't mind sauces or stewed tomatoes or anything like that, but raw tomatoes are just gross and I can't stand them. I guess along with this, I don't like anything on my hamburgers but meat, a bun, and a little mayo and ketchup. I like to taste the meat. If I wanted a salad....I'd order a salad! If I'm craving a hamburger, that means I want to actually know that meat is in there! haha. I'm wierd. If I can taste even a trace amount of raw tomatoe on my food, in almost every case I am immediately turned off and I stop eating it (unless it would be incredibly rude, then I just sort of lose interest). I call tomato yuck "guts", so when I ask for a hamburger from Jason or someone close to me, I ask if it has "guts" on it. Needless to say, Jason is so frustrated by that that he refuses to buy me a hamburger that costs more than $0.99! Carl's Junior Big Burger, baby! Its okay, I think there is an addictive additive in them and I love them!
5. I have to make my Christmas cards. I don't know what it is, but I just can't go through a Christmas holiday without making at least some cards! I feel an incredible sense of loss when I try to do without it and its just silly. I guess its just a deep-rooted tradition. I started making them in High School and I think I've only gone one christmas since without doing it! I love to figure out some new and cute way of making my cards every year. Jason used to think I was nuts to do cards on top of everything else, but he's come to appreciate the tradition and doesn't think its Christmas until I've started making them.
Okay, so I can't remember who has posted this on their blogs, so if I "tag" you and you've already done it....sorry! So, I tag: Brenna, Sara, Jamie, Erin, and Katie! Have fun! Now that I'm finished, I have thought of a few more! Wow, I just had a "i AM wierd" epiphany!

oh, so you couldn't think of anything, huh? ha ha! Those were pretty funny, but I totally agree with the "clean the whole house before a trip" one. I always do that! Hey did you forget your #6 one? That's okay, thanks for playing along, it was fun! :)
Hey girl! You've been tagged again! Go to my blog to see what to do! ;)
