Jonas, the Three-Year-Old.

THE BIG THREE! Jonas is getting so grown up! For his birthday, I made a pirate ship icecream/brownie cake and it turned out fun! It was the first icecream cake I had ever made and it was SO much easier than the ones I usually make! We had tons of family over and just had a blast! He got a pop-up puppy tent from Kinsey, (she picked it out all by herself...and maybe just a little FOR herself! haha), a Jedi lightsaber from Goi and Papa, a Superman/Batman cape from Mommy, G.I. Joes from Daddy and Logie, his OWN box of arts and crafts supplies from Paka and Grandma Cheryl, and a whole bag of fun things from Grandma and Shy and Sav and Brennie. Jonas is very much into superheros and G.I. Joes and stuff this year. He's such a fun boy. Some fun things Jonas does: We can NOT get on the ground on our hands and knees without having Jonas do a running jump onto our backs, slap our rears and yell "GIDDUP HORSEY"! He snuggles me on my bed for nap time and shares half of his blankie with me while making baby kitty squeaks (that's how I know he loves me!). He LOVES chips and "Bip" and it doesn't matter if it could take rust off a bumper, he'll eat it. Guess eating all that mexican food during my pregnancy with him paid off! He'll put on his cape and wait until we make a supersonic jet sound before he'll take off like a superhero. He loves to play wrestle and fight with Jason. He is Kinsey's little buddy and will follow her anywhere....tries to draw what she draws and write what she writes. He totally bugs her a lot of the time in the process, but I think she likes having a little minion. He is such a loving kid, very affectionate and kind, but still a rough and tumble mess maker. He is just so fun. We love you, Jonas. Can't wait for the next year's adventures!
