We had Brenna, Dad and Rusty over for dinner on Christmas Eve! Jason made Prime Rib with all the trimmings and we had a nice night! We forgot to make cookies for Santa, or even buy any, so Santa was left some chocolate and oranges for his snack and some carrots for his reindeer. Kinsey wrote the letter to Santa all by herself! We were so proud of her! We read the Christmas story out of Luke and another fun Christmas miracle story. Brennie stayed the night

at our house so she could be here for the big reveal to the kids the next morning! We all went to bed pretty early, even the kids were passed out at 8:30pm! The next morning, I woke up and saw that it was almost 8am and no one was up yet! THAT was OUR Christmas Miracle! So, I

went and stirred the kids and Brennie and found that SANTA CAME!!! The kids knew that because Santa had helped us go to Disneyland, he wasn't going to bring a lot of things Christmas morning. I had been telling them only a gift or two! So, to our amazement, the

couch was covered in gifts for the whole family, not to mention under the tree was packed with gifts we had all gotten eachother! We had a busy morning

enjoying seeing eachother so excited about the gifts. Jonas got a Bow with some suction cup arrows. Santa must have known that for weeks Jonas had been taking sticks and crossing them and running around shooting his "bow". Kinsey got an Easy Bake Microwave kit and was jumping she was so excited! I made the kids a lot of stuff, of course. I have always felt like if I didn't make the kids at least ONE thing it just wouldn't be right. That whole homespun and hard candy Christmas thing, I guess. We got a couple of fun movies and the best of all: we were happy just being together and seeing eachother happy. Daddy got some G.I. Joes so he'd quit stealing Jonas's and Logie got some socks....he had more fun ripping the paper anyway. Logie is at such a fun age this Christmas! He could tear the paper and had a ball with

the rest of us!
We got cleaned up and headed down to Paka and Grandma Cheryl's house where they had a surprise! Kinsey and Jonas both got new bikes from them! Kinsey could barely ride her old bike without her knees knocking the handle bars and Jonas has never had a bike besides the bigwheel he got handed down from Kinsey! Jonas's first bike...and its handle revs and shows on a gauge how "fast" he's

going. Its a Hotwheels bike. Kinsey's is super cute too and has ladybugs and flowers on it. Its a bigger bike but she'll be able to ride it for a long time! It even has a backpack on the front of it! Jason and I got spoiled with pots and pans like we've never seen or owned! We've been using some real beat up ones from when we were first married and they're

probably so corroded they were close to being

dangerous! We were so excited! Santa found some stockings at their house too, so they had some

Christmas treats there too! We had lamb and chicken for dinner and got to spend some great time with Rusty, Grandpa Peter, Auntie Carmen and Peter's brother who was in town from Texas.
