Kinsey's Birthday was a special one this year! The night before Kinsey's birthday, I had to run to the store to grab a few things I needed for her party....but it was blizzarding outside! I barely made it downtown, let alone any store! I did have the courage to drive to Smiths where I got to thinking about the cake I was wanting to make her. I realized that in all the chaos after Kinsey's friend party and the hives, I hadn't left enough time to make her the cake I wanted to. When I got to Smiths, I found the most perfect cake for Kinsey and I knew Kinsey wouldn't mind. Kids always love a bought cake...I just don't feel like a good mom for buying one! Just then, a manager walked up and told me she'd write on it for me! I was so happy! It was 11pm at night, (it had taken me almost an hour to go 7 miles), and this lady was so nice! I found the other things I needed to make Kinsey's party special, and hit the road back home.

The next morning, we brought her breakfast in bed...her favorite: German pancakes, strawberries, and bacon! She had fun being treated like a princess. Later on, we had a family party for her where we revealed her birthday cake! She was so excited! We had family over and just had a fun time! The next day I took treats to Kinsey's class, (yellow and chocolate frosted cookies!), and watched as they sang to her and made her feel special. It was so fun! I can't belive my little baby girl is growing up so fast! She's just such a smart, fun, imaginative, gorgeous little girl and we love her! She's the best big sister and daughter and never lets us forget how much she loves us! We love you Kinsey! Happy Birthday!!
