Wow, am I behind! On May 6th Kinsey's preschool put on a BBQ as sort of a graduation and program party! We had great food, the kids sang, (and danced...well, Kinsey did at least!) and the kids got their certificates and a gift from their teachers. I HAVE to post some video of the kids singing! I have to admit I have more video of this whole thing more than pictures for once! Kinsey was hilarious! She was doing model poses and flitting around like a fairy and doing such funny things through the singing! She was singing like she was supposed to be and having a little extra fun while doing it! Everyone was laughing at her, (in a good way!) and she couldn't figure out why, but I just kept egging her on from behind my video camera! She is so cute! I just kept thinking, I need to get this girl in dance class already! She's always flitting around the house doing "ballet"...not, not how you're supposed to say it with the silent "T", she says it with a hard "T" sound! She's such a sweetheart! Her teachers say that she was always a joy and never caused any problems besides the occasional fight over dress up clothes with another kid or something! its been two weeks since schools been out and every day she asks "Mommy, is it a school day?" and I tell her "No" and explain the ins and outs of summer vacation. She always says...."but I want to go to school!" Its sweet. She's such a smartie! I just can't wait to see what she learns this next year of preschool! I just can't believe how far she's come! She can write her name and read about ten words by herself, recite a whole book by herself, do simple addition and subtraction...not to mention all the dress up and out doors stuff she was exposed to! Jason went one day during lunch and was pitching a ball to the kids and Kinsey was first up and hit the ball right off! I don't think about some of these things for her age! Anyway, she loves preschool and is bummed its over for the year, but she'll have fun this summer too! San Francisco, here we come!
