So, Jason's parents were meeting his sister and her boyfriend, who live in Ohio, in Vegas. We decided to see if my dad and his wife Cheryl would watch the kids overnight for us. They said yes, of course, and we were off for the weekend! We met Jason's family and then went to the Knights of the Roundtable dinner at the Excalibur. It was fun, but no cameras were allowed. Bummer. We walked around Vegas after that, walking all the way from The Bellagio to Treasure Island! I didn't think it was that far, but man, after a roundtable dinner and sitting in a chair all summer, I was out of shape! We left town the next day after going to the M&Ms factory out off Boulder Hwy. We sure had fun. It was nice not to have to worry about bedtimes and naptimes and if the kids were gonna throw a fit in the middle of it all! They woulda had fun too, but sometimes a mommy and daddy just need a night off!
