I had to work on the 24th of July this year, and at work I got a call from Jason saying he'd bought a big case of fireworks at the store that morning. So, I rushed home from work a little later than usual, but just in time to watch the neighbors fireworks...that I'm not sure were legal but were a field away...and then our little piddly ones. Kinsey and Jonas had fun with the poppers. I'm not much into sparklers...I just don't like all the sparks being so close to them, especially where Kinsey and Jonas are so little. Jonas didn't like the fountains too much. He was a little freaked out...and of course my favorites were the noisy ones! Whoda thought a boy would be so freaked out by noise and fire? Maybe I should be grateful! We started our show a little early so that we could get the kids to bed at a decent hour and we only lit off maybe 1/3 of the box! I know what we'll be doing on New Years!
