Okay, so you'd think Logan was going into Kindergarten or something....but I'm having a hard time with him being three months already! What happened to these past few months? Logan is such a sweetie...if he's awake, he's either playing, smiling and talking or eating. He is just such a happy baby! He even sleeps great. He goes to bed around 9pm and only gets me up once a night, usually around 4am! He's gotta be pushing 16 pounds by now which is killing my arm but
he's worth it! He's a chunky baby! He magically knows to fuss right as I'm sitting down to eat, but I didn't realize until just last week that he wants to sit on my lap at the table! I'd forgotten that Jonas liked doing that too at this age! He'll watch me walk by him and he'll try to get my attention by goo-in at me or smiling and he LOVES his big sister and big brother! Kinsey will "babysit" him for me while I jump in the shower or make dinner and she can get him just a talking and cooing. She'll sing to him every song she knows and he will sit quietly and listen. Its very sweet. He loves his toys and its fun to put a real noisy one on his toy bar and just listen to it go nuts. Bath time is his favorite time of day. He'll start fussing around 8pm and the minute I turn the bathwater on, he'll perk up and start smiling and wiggling. I think he just likes to be naked and splashing. Once I start washing him, he screams at me...usually the only
time he's cried at me all day...and then I'll get him out and dress him. After that's over, he'll finally stop throwing his tantrum and fall asleep. Anyway, I think I'm finally realizing how fast kids really do grow up and how amazing it is that I get to witness all these firsts. I may have done these things a lot but my kids haven't and I want to re-enjoy those things all over again with them and see how much they enjoy them. Being a mom is definitely the most all-consuming, exhausting, sometimes thankless and overwhelmingly frustrating job I've ever had, but I'm grateful I get to be here for it. Haha. By the way, the pics are of the evolution of Logan's chubbiness...I can't believe how handsome the little guy is!

I know the time goes so fast! That's so precious that she "babysits" him and sings to him and that it keeps him happy. Love that. And I love that picture in the bath with the wash cloth covering him up! So cute and funny! Here's something random: Do you remember Debbie Cameron who was in our ward in the Colony? She would watch LOTR with me and I think she had dated Jason a little bit before. Well I totally ran into her at the park here in town today! We were both so pleasantly surprised. Turns out we've been living in the same small town for two years and never knew it! She has three cute kids too. Anyway, her new last name is Lawrence if you want to look her up on FB.
I can't believe how big he's getting. And what a fun trip to california! I'm so glad you're able to take those fun trips because roadtrips when I was little were the BEST!!!
