So, there are gonna be a lot of pictures, so bear with me! Also, I downloaded the pics in the wrong order...so if you're confused, so am I! This first pic is of the cove where our hotel was....it was such a nice, quiet little beach and we loved it!
I have NEVER been to such a healthy beach with such healthy tidepools! I can't even tell you how many stars we saw and the anemones and crabs were all over! This was at the beach by our hotel!
Jason: "I GOT CRABS!" hahaha. Oh wait, that's a star....well, the whole time we were tidepooling was looking for crabs and saying that! Its Jason's thing to look for crabs at the beach for some reason...its mine to look for Anemones...and its Kinsey's thing to collect shells....we all have a blast!
We found a cute little sea star for Kinsey to hold...we had such a fun time looking for shells and stuff! Kinsey is definitely my daughter!

Yay! The Golden Gate Bridge! We were at a Fort at the base of it. It was cool seeing such a national landmark up close! I really didn't realize how big it was!

I was so excited that I snapped a pic of Kinsey and I as we went across the Bay Bridge...of course you can't tell.....!
Us at the Oakland temple right as we were driving into San Fran. They had a plaque there that overlooked the bay, (Oakland temple sits on the side of a big mountain), talked about how a group of the Saints travelled by boat around Cape Horn and into San Francisco Bay. I had heard of it of course, but it was very cool to see the spot! It gave the names of the passengers and there were two births on board...a boy named Atlantic and a girl named Pacific...or was it the other way around? I thought that was cool! You could really feel the spirit there...just even walking around outside!
At Jason's parents house....they sometimes have lots of snails and we love em! They are cute and squishy....and loaded with Salmonella, so we washed hands after!
Kinsey and I lined up a bunch of snails and Kinsey started to point out to me which one was the Daddy...and which one was the Mommy...and the sister...and brother....! It was cute! I have to admit I was thinking more scientifically about painting their shells with nail polish and seeing which ones we could find the next day. Hmmm. I'm a nerd!
Jonas in his new swim trunks....that I got last year at Walmart clearance for $3!!! We were washing the van so we didn't look like white trash driving through California....do you ever notice that cars look spotless at all times in Cali?

The first day we were on vacation we packed up and went to the cemetary to do Memorial Day stuff. It was fun and good to learn about Jason's extended family! The kids had a ball because they weren't crammed in a car after the long drive there the night before! Jonas and Kinsey figured out how to swing from Daddy and Papa's hands...you know...they stand on each side and hold hands and the kid basically swings from his arms like a monkey and then you can never get them to stand on their feet again because they want to do it all the time after that!Okay, stay tuned...more to come! We went to the National Maritime Museum and walked on a cool old ship from the mid-1800s, we went to Ghiridelli Square and Fisherman's Wharf and LOOKED at Alcatraz! Lots to tell you about....!
