So, my little boy thinks he needs to potty train. He's not even two yet! I was planning on sending him and Jason out to "water" the bushes next summer so I could get out of it all....maybe I can hold him off! This picture was not staged, either. He really put himself up there...granted, his diaper is still on and all that, but I still thought it was cute. He's also got one of his trademark Jonas smiles going. This kid has smile powers...now if we can only make sure he uses them for good! Jonas also loves to wear Kinsey's bike helmet. He isn't handicapped or anything, he likes to put it on--BACKWARDS--for the goof factor. He loves to put on a show and make everyone laugh. And, when the camera comes out, watch out. He's a ham! Kinsey took ballet and Jazz lessons this fall as well! She loved it and picked out her outfit that we'd had for years! She can tell you all the ballet positions

and when she sees someone doing ballet on TV, sh

e'll say, "mom, that's a pirouette" or whatever it happened to be. After the holidays, we'll get her back into it for the new year. Jason's also taking her to sign up for spring soccer tomorrow too. She'll have lots of fun things to do once it warms up! Jonas loves to sweep. He'll get into the pantry and I'll yell at him to get out...usually he's in there to "get a treat", but if he's wanting to sweep, he'll come look at me like "mom....relax" and he'll say "sweep". I really need to get him a pint-sized broom and dustpan because he tends to knock things around with my big one, but he loves to help...how can I argue with that? He actually can sweep things up too! The other pics are of the kids being cute together...and not fighting...or teasing eachother. Usually snacks are involved. As much as that happens, I know they really do love eachother and they are excited when the other wakes up from a nap or comes home from school. I think its a territory/2 year old/why can't he leave my stuff alone kind of thing. I remember doing that with my little sister. I think its just part of growing up. Now,

if only I had a basement so they could do that particular nasty part of growing up out of earshot. I am catching the blog up, so don't miss the last few posts!

Those are some cute shots!! But I think he is ready and just go for it...
Yes, definitely see this as a potty training sign and get it done with before the next one comes! Breastfeeding with one arm and wiping a butt with the other is just too much!
Adorable family. I'm so glad Kinsey gets to do soccer and ballet! Good for her!
Oh! and a heads up on watering the weeds... You know how we were always up in the mountains and away from established restrooms so the kids had to learn the heal-toe method/ watering the weeds method? Well, so far I haven't seen a youtube video of a certain little boy watering the soccer field in front of a audience, but I know there were video cameras there! Watch out! It'll probably happen to you too... especially since Kinsey plays soccer! Definitely upplay the importance of bathrooms in public!
